Strom Strategic Consulting is a nationwide, labor consulting and strike contingency planning firm that provides options and solutions to companies facing pressing staffing issues and potential labor disruptions. Our History
Strom Strategic Consulting and Strom Engineering are privately held Minnesota-based companies. Strom Engineering was founded in 1961 by Donald Strom, originally providing engineers and drafters to local companies. The company continued to grow as its reputation for supplying highly skilled personnel spread. In 1995 John Radick became managing partner and soon, Strom began placing personnel nationally in highly specialized fields to serve an ever widening range of staffing needs and situations.

For nearly half a century, the Strom Team has gained valuable insight and knowledge about the labor market, labor disruptions, and contingency planning. Since its founding, Strom has supplied personnel ranging from general laborers to engineers, and has provided consulting and management support services to countless industries including capital equipment manufacturing, foundry, food and beverage, mining, transportation, construction, power distribution and industrial supply, as well as the hi-tech fields of computers, electronics, semi-conductors, telecommunications, and special production machinery.

Today, Strom provides a wide array of services to meet our clients’ needs. Workforces big or small, Strom has helped maximize production and efficiency by preparing companies for the ups and downs of the labor market.
